This policy explains what data the X-Power Plus browser extension and the xpowerbit.com website handle, and how.

1. Your browsing data stays local

• Tabs, bookmarks, history archive, statistics and settings are stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB / extension storage).
• We operate no analytics, no tracking, and no telemetry in the extension. Your browsing data is never sent to our servers.
• The Smart Suggestions feature reads the title and meta keywords of the page you're viewing to match it against your own bookmarks. This matching runs entirely on your device — no page content or browsing activity is ever sent anywhere. You can turn this feature off in the extension's bookmark settings at any time.
• Cloud backups (Pro) are uploaded to your own Google Drive app folder using your Google account authorization. We have no access to these backups. You can disconnect the authorization at any time.

2. What our license service stores

When you purchase and activate Pro, our license server (api.xpowerbit.com, hosted on Cloudflare) stores only what licensing requires:

• License key, plan type and status, and the related Paddle order identifiers
• The email address associated with your order (for license delivery and support)
• Random device identifiers and optional device labels for activation-limit accounting (these identify an extension install, not your browsing)
• IP address and country, derived from license activation requests, used only to detect abnormal activation patterns (e.g. one license activated from many countries in a short time) that indicate a shared or stolen license key

License verification requests contain the license key and device identifier only. License activation requests additionally expose your IP address and country to our server for the abuse-detection purpose described above.

3. Google Drive access (Pro cloud backup)

X-Power Plus's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We request only the drive.appdata scope, which grants access to a single hidden application-data folder created by X-Power Plus — never your other Drive files. This data is used solely to store and retrieve your own backups and is never read, sold, or shared by us.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record. We never see your card details. See the Paddle privacy policy.

5. This website

xpowerbit.com is a static site served via Cloudflare and sets no tracking cookies. The order success page contacts our license server solely to display the license key for your transaction.

6. Data retention and deletion

License records are kept for as long as the license is valid and as required for accounting. To request deletion of your license data, contact us from the email used at purchase.
