Troubleshooting

A keyboard shortcut doesn't do anything

Chrome sometimes auto-assigns a shortcut to a different extension when it's installed. Open chrome://extensions/shortcuts (Settings has a button that opens it directly) and check whether Ctrl+Shift+S or Alt+Shift+D is bound to something else, then reassign it there.

Google Drive cloud backup shows an authorization error

Google access tokens expire periodically. Open the Cloud Backup card in Settings and use the reconnect flow — your existing schedule and backup list are preserved, you're just re-confirming access.

Syntax search shows an upgrade hint even though I'm on Pro

Check the License & Upgrade card in Settings for your current state. If you're in the 14-day grace period after a failed license re-check, Pro features should still be active; if the card shows Free unexpectedly, try reconnecting or re-entering your license key — see Pricing, Trial & License Activation.

A frozen tab reloaded and I lost what I was typing

This is expected — freezing discards the tab's memory entirely, including any unsaved form input, while keeping its title/favicon/URL in place. Add pages you're actively working in to the freeze whitelist so they're never auto-frozen. See Tab Freezing.

The dead-link checker flags a site I know is fine

Sites behind bot-protection (Cloudflare and similar) sometimes respond in ways that look dead to an automated check. Add the domain to the ignore list, or add its challenge-page wording to the Challenge Keywords list so it's recognized as protected rather than dead. See Bookmark Health Check & Duplicate Detection.

An import file was rejected

Imports have size and item-count limits as a safety check against loading a corrupted or unrelated file (for example, snapshot imports are capped at 10 MB). If a legitimate export is being rejected, try splitting it into smaller batches by category or folder.
